The Contemplative Community Building project will be a public goods resource for mindful community building in the web3 ecosystem with an emphasis on impactDAOs and mission-driven protocols and projects. A major issue within our web3 ecosystems is the mental health and well being of our community members, including founders, contributors and the community at large. If we’re able to bake mindfulness or contemplative structures and practices into our communities from the beginning or introduce such methods into existing communities, we can begin to make a more resilient and thriving collective of change makers to help move the needle towards our goals.
The premise is to create a comprehensive public goods educational project for Contemplative Community Building that helps foster a healthy and mindful community framework to support a “human first” approach to crafting resilient and powerful autonomous organizations.
The project will contain a multitude of lessons, grounded in various wisdom traditions steeped in contemplative practices, that are designed to provide necessary mental wellness support for individual builders and to help those builders lay a foundation that incorporates the space and intention necessary to build a thriving community that places humanity above all else.
These lessons will be a combination of original articles, relevant research, reference links and documentation, templates for creating a community framework, interviews, audio meditations and readings and will be built on a completely open platform, such as Notion. The content will be designed as themed lesson plans and delivered in the appropriate multimedia formats that best support the theme of the lesson and its intended outcomes.
Contemplative Community Building will also have a private server for those wishing to go deeper into the contemplative aspects of community building and will have access tokens that can be purchased to support the project.
